These Duets were arranged between March and July, 2020 at the request of Angela Draper and Tricia Nicholson in response to the Covid-19 lockdown. Without the possibility of attending any ensemble rehearsals they took it upon themselves to commission duet arrangements of all their favourite pieces of music, from baroque to traditional folk songs to jazz standards. The idea was to spend some time rehearsing their individual parts so that they were ready to rehearse them together in Tricia’s garden once the social distancing measures allowed.
